The company DAMA-D.P. was established in Zagreb in January 1994 and it has been growing continuously since. Nowadays it is one of the best Croatian companies in the field, whose main business partners are mostly daughter companies of the Croatian Railways (HŽ) as well as many
domestic and foreign companies.
The company’s basic activity was the wholesale of non-food products. With our conscientious business activities and our proper dedication we achieved distinguished results soon so we employed three new employees in the period until 1997 in order to follow an increased number of customers and suppliers
more effectively.
Job expansion contributed to our reaching of the decision to invest into our own business projects. That is how we started with the realisation of the construction of our own business premises in 1999, which we finished in 2002 solely from our own resources.
Wishing to offer the high-quality service to our business partners and to satisfy the needs of the market we decided for the expansion and promotion of business cooperation by producing less complex spare parts for the requirements of the Croatian railways. And so in 2001 we entered the process of
additional registration of the company according to Art 35.2 regarding the subject of business.
In 2002 we started with our own designing of testing stations and complementing of parts for air half-couplings of the carriage braking system. In the same year we received the approval of the committee of experts of the Croatian Railways (HŽ) for production and assembly of the spare parts for railway
carriages.
The high quality of our products was confirmed by the implementation of the international standard ISO 9001-2000 and with our continuous investment into new equipment and instruments we can satisfy the market and the customers to the utmost.
We began with construction of objects on the island Pag in 2003.
In 2008 we started with designing and production of machines for the requirements of the company Remont željezničkih vozila (Railway Vehicles Overhaul). The machines are used exclusively in carriage production and gaining advantage in quality and market requirements over our competition.
In 2009 due to the increasing insolvency of Croatian economy we entered the process of additional registration of our company’s activities by providing financial services with which we would like to give our contribution to the recovery of economy.
Nowadays DAMA.-D.P. employs seven expert and skilled employees who can reply to all requests of the modern market with high quality.
